Birkdale library is the most user friendly library in the Southport area because it provides off road parking facilities. This is particulary relevant for the elderly, disabled and for families. The library is not just for books but provides important services that involve and include every sector of our community. The availability of computers is essential in todays society as not everyone has this facility at home.
