The Northern Ireland Assembly, Committee for the Environment Passed legislation for the department of Environment (D.O.E) on the 17 June 2013 to introduce Single tier licensing toNorthern Ireland this will not only put over 500+ drivers out of there jobs but will also leave wheelchair users without any kind of transport and if any it will be atextra cost to them with the implementation of Single tier licensing and the planed Regulations for wheelchair accessible taxis. The Core Department have said they have helped us this is not true there is things that can be put in place to safeguard our jobs. The Minister needs to step up to the mark and hear the truth.
