There are plenty of other areas that are suitable. I am not from this area, but there are some beautiful villages and we should protect them from change that is totally unnecessary.

This is what ECV / Liberty / Inspired Villages / Places For People / Octopus Investments (all connected entities ) are doing to Stow having won the appeal there - please, review the images and nature and scale of the buildings- it is the same size development as Beckford has been promised by them. If they get past the appeal, no one will be able to protect the ancient part of the village from being turned into an urban environment. Also search Inspired Villages ( ECV's new name now their reputation is growing !!??) for Warwick and Cheshire to see the 'housing estate' they have built under the auspices of being a Care Village in the flesh and off the page of the brochure. Look at the FAQ's re "house" sizes, occupancy, bedrooms, storeys, car volumes, security systems etc. etc. ( not to mention fees and costs ). Also note 'NO' Spa's, Wellness facilities in the 1st Phase ? Will they ever arrive ? Stow is being developed for over 50's not retired people at all now. ( See Liberty Retirement - Stow Web Site ) Is this really what people think Beckford needs ?

These plans would totally ruin the village we love

I am very much against the Care Village proposed for Beckford. The planners have already rejected the original application on multiple sound reasons. Doubling the size of the village is absolutely ridiculous. Fight against it - please!

Planning officials should realise this is an inappropriate development, proper care should be close to the amenities of a town or large village

Revised plans show encroachment closer to existing dwellings, and ruination of land with wildlife conservation value, rather than leaving wooded areas as a natural breaker. Development is still FAR too large.

These developments can and should be built in appropriate areas. This is not. Added to the fact of being an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Common sense needs to be used here. It will simply ruin a very old and established village.

I am in support of the proposed care home development. It will bring benefits, not only to the local community but also the wildlife. I have looked at the plans submitted by the care home.

Doubling the size of Beckford Village for nothing more than financial gain is an outrage.
This is nothing more than a speculative investment masquerading under the heading of a much needed Care Home when locally many of those already in existence do not have full occupancy.

These developers don't care about ruining people's lives and lovely rural villages. All they care about is making money and then moving on. Yes we need care homes but only in the right places.

Beckford currently only has 105 houses. This would more than double the size of the village.
