Reston Community Center and Fairfax County are planning to build a new community center in Baron Cameron Park. This will not only eliminate the dog park and community gardens but will take away several if not ‘ALL OUR ATHLETIC FIELDS!
Soccer Fields in the Reston Area are already overused and hard to get. Losing any or all of these fields at Baron Cameron will have a direct impact on youth soccer in Reston.
We strongly oppose the county building on this open space.
Please sign our petition to keep Baron Cameron a natural open space recreational area and SAVE our FIELDS!

im still spending all day looking at maps and plans to see how we can stop this project. thanks to everyone sending me messages about how much their kids depend on these fields because it really helps to know im not the only one stressed about it.

im honestly blown away by how much energy this has picked up lately. seeing so many people speak up for our fields makes me realize how much this space actually means to all of us.

The soccer leagues are already struggling for practice space. Taking these fields away is just going to make everything worse for the players.
My family uses those gardens every year. This is a huge mistake for the whole community.
Ridiculous. We already have enough buildings going up everywhere. Leave the fields alone they are for the kids.
KEEP THE DOG PARK!!!!
The kids need these fields!! There is nowhere else to play soccer in this area. Stop building over every patch of grass we have left.

Please save our green space. Reston is getting way to crowded as it is.
