Community is what binds us together as a country and it’s critical in every little nook and cranny of a town that people have a place to congregate and to share . Neighborhood cruise and becomes wealthy out of these congregating spots . You are able to sell your building anyway you may not of 15 years ago because of this bar. Please consider a sale to the owner

Please don’t destroy this neighborhood gem!

This is a strong and peaceful neighborhood filled with young working parents with small children. We do not wish to chase them away as they've added to the value of this neighborhood. The one huge disfigurement has been the Meier building. Isn't that mistake enough?

SAVE THE WHOLE BLOCK

Small community-centered business is important for every neighborhood. It's what makes New York real.

Bar Sepia is a mythical place in Prospect Heights for anyone who has been in the neighborhood for over a decade. It will be a sad day to see it go.

To Bar Sepia's landlord: Bar Sepia has been a long-term and loved neighborhood gathering place. You owe it to them and to our community to meet with them and seriously consider their offer.

There is no reasonable reason this bar should be closed. And there's no reasonable excuse for a developer to own and keep empty one building for years.

Why can't the city council do something? Where is Laura Combo?

An enduring local establishment is something to be treasured. Built over the course of years, Bar Sepia is proven. Any other tenant in that space would not be. Brooklyn already has its share of overpriced commercial rentals with new tenants that stay a year or so and then the space has to be relisted. Bar Sepia does for neighborhood morale and long term values what others might not, and are demonstrably willing to pay for the privilege. Allowing them to continue is less risk and less work, practically speaking. Good faith negotiation would no doubt be appreciated by the community.

Don’t give up!

Bar Sepia was here before the neighborhood was trendy. It'd be a shame to see them go. They should at least be in the game for staying.
