I love Bar Sepia! Please let them stay! They have been an integral part of the neighborhood, for the last 16 years, and we would all be sad to see them go. Sincerely, Mike Harlow

To an establishment who stood when no one else did not in the neighborhood. She has always been good to the neighborhood.

Sepia was my home-away-from-home when I lived on Eastern Parkway. It would be a major loss to the neighborhood to see it close.

This bar is truly a community gathering place, a respite and a home. As the community has changed over time, it has been a steady rock for so many. Cannot let it go!

I worked at Sepia for 3 years, I called that place home while I was in NYC and it should remain open because if it's importance to the me and the community.

There is no other place like Sepia!!! This business is truly one of the heartbeats of the neighborhood! After living here for almost 30 years, and experiencing the changes all around me, it has become more and more important to have a place like Sepia to go to, where ALL are welcomed and accepted. Additionally, it is a business owned by a (strong, smart, beautiful, inspiring) woman of color -- how many of the new spots all around can make that claim? We want Sepia to stay!

It's a wonderful and thriving business for the neighborhood. Sepia stays!

Bar Sepia is much more than a bar, much more than its category may imply. Along with its owner/founder, Delissa Reynolds, it represents the absolute best of what Brooklyn is all about. Those of us who "Get" Brooklyn, long-timers and newbies alike, are here for a respite from the impersonal, rude lifestyle of some other NYC nabes, to experience a little caring, sharing, warmth, and fun! This bar provides and represents diversity and acceptance at its best. Bar Sepia arrived during a troubling time in this area, and I personally witnessed its positive impact in helping to bring back the proud positive vibe that once existed here. Now the bar is facing eviction, possibly extinction, after years of community support and stellar tenancy! Why? We cannot allow this neighborhood jewel to disappear!!! Please join me and my wife Dona, and all our friends and neighbors in doing what you can to stop this tragedy, speaking truth to power, raising funds and raising Hell against misguided changes and development that does not honor and improve our community.

Bar Sepia is a neighborhood institution and gathering space. It deserves to be kept open.

Bar Sepia has a warmth that the city needs. It is more than a commercial establishment, it is what makes our day to day transactions rewarding and valuable. Please stand with Bar Sepia.

Bar Sepia is more than just somewhere to get a drink. Delissa has worked hard to make Bar Sepia a family and a treasured gathering place in the neighborhood. I owe my life several times over to this place, the friends I made there, and the love shared.

Bar Sepia is a staple of the community in Prospect Heights. It's one of the most diverse bars in Brooklyn bringing together people from all types of backgrounds around good drinks and good atmosphere. Sure you can go down the street now to sit and with white hipsters who stare at their phones, but that's no fun. Prospect heights is what it is in part because of Sepia and the tireless work Delissa does with the local community. Don't close this wonderful place. Please, lets keep it open.

I love bar sepia!

This bar has been a lifeline to me. It's a true community. From going to this bar, I met many people who I forged relationships with, made films with, subletted apartments from, built an audience for my own work, etc... better than social media. I know I'm not alone in my experience of Bar Sepia, and that it's no accident it's this way. 234 Underhill is meant to be Bar Sepia.
