Bar Sepia is a cornerstone of our neighborhood. Far more than just a bar, it is an informal community center where all are welcome to gather to talk about everything from education to politics to neighborhood development. Many relationships, both personal and organizational, have grown through conversation at Sepia's tables. This is an institution than cannot be replicated elsewhere, given the challenging North Brooklyn real estate market. Please consider the true value of what Bar Sepia represents to our neighborhood, and allow the folks who built it to have a fair shot at keeping it alive. Thhank you.

Sepia is an absolute neighborhood institution, as is its owner Delissa. The worth of the bar is immeasurable, as it represents those hard to place features that make a community priceless. Prospect Heights is Prospect Heights because of people like Delissa. Sepia reminds us all that everyone is welcome. I adore this place and always have. One of Brooklyn's favorite homes away from home.

Bar Sepia welcomed me into Brooklyn when I first moved to Prospect Heights and became a source of friends and family! I can’t tell you enough how many amazing people I met there. It’s a neighborhood staple!
