Save Bar Sepia & Protect Neighborhood Small Businesses

Bar Sepia is a staple of Prospect Heights. The owners have invested in the growth of the community in a beautiful way and should be allowed to continue that. Please, save Bar Sepia!

This is my favorite bar, such a great community building space. All my ten years on the block, its still the best bar around.

I don’t live in Prospect Heights, I’ve never been to Bar Sepia, in fact I live in California. But my daughter lives across from the Brooklyn Museum of Art and has sung the praises of Bar Sepia. She is bereft at the thought of the community losing this wonderful place. I am adding my support based on her sentiments!

Bar Sepia is a treasure. It should not be forced out of the neighborhood.

I support this community business for a variety of reasons but most importantly as a welcoming longstanding community space that needs to be preserved in an ever changing neighborhood.

Keep Sepia open! Sepia is SO much more than a bar. Delissa, the owner was instrumental in the economic rebirth of Prospect Height. Sepia is a true anchor of the neighborhood... we need it to STAY!

Bar Sepia needs to remain as a stable gathering place for locals to keep the “unity” in the Prospect Heights community

It's a fixture for locals. I go there after events at the Brooklyn Public Library main branch with the librarians and their cohort. It would be really sad to see it go.

When I lived in the neighborhood, Bar Sepia was the only spot, the place where people went to hang, a place that brought together young and old. It is integral to the life and history of the neighborhood, and needs to be maintained.

Bar Sepia is a unique meeting place where everyone in the neighborhood—from the people who were born and raised here to the people who've been here 10-15 years to new arrivals—is welcomed and appreciated. There are very few places like it in this city and it's a vital part of the community. Let's keep it open!

Bar Sepia is an integral part of the neighborhood that brings much needed social inclusiveness; Delissa has created a truly unique environment that should absolutely be preserved.
