Bar Sepia is a special place - it is THE epitomy of the neighborhood bar...welcoming, diverse, and without pretention. It is a communal gathering spot. I've lived right around the corner for 15 years and Bar Sepia is worth fighting for. When do we say enough is enough? Right now.

Bar Sepia is a genuine neighborhood bar. They have been here before the neighborhood became so "desirable." They are a successful, much loved business that deserves respect.

Bar Sepia is a cornerstone of our community, a safe and welcoming place in Prospect Heights for a diverse, eclectic cross section of neighbors and friends to meet, commune and celebrate.

Delissa and Bar Sepia took a chance on this neighborhood when most folks were afraid to walk down the block.. Bar Sepia gave us a meeting a place and sense of community and helped build this neighborhood. It saddens me that their reward would be to be priced out of the community that they helped revived. Please don't do this.

Bar Sepia is a neighborhood staple. It would be a loss for the community if it had to close.

Places like this bar are part of the reason people want to live in this neighborhood. It never fails, when I tell someone where I live, they say "Oh! right by Bar Sepia!" and then usually they talk about what a great bar it is. My bedroom window looks out onto the back porch, and they are very good neighbors, I hope this place stays open.

I have been to Bar Sepia a few times. A truly special place. A unique neighborhood spot that Delissa and Elia built in a pioneering spirit. Bar Sepia epitomizes what NY and especially Brooklyn is all about. It would be a truly sad day if the doors are allowed to close! Keep up the good fight!

Use to work at Bar Sepia back when it first opened and have known Delissa for years. She is an amazing woman on all fronts and it would be a shame if Bar Sepia ceased to exist. Brooklyn would truly loose a treasure for it is places like this that help define what Brooklyn is all about.

I haven’t lived in Prospect Heights for 10 years but Bar Sepia is one of the reasons why it still feels like home. Small businesses like Bar Sepia are the backbone of our communities and having a place to enjoy time with friends or get lost in a book is more important now than ever. Sepia to me is memories of birthday parties, bad first dates, a drink with Diplo, and many more with my mom and dad. Delissa made everyone feel welcome, fostered a community, and build a home for people to rest easy and hide away from the world. We need more places like this, so let’s be smart and save this one.
