I really feel the loss of this amenity is not a good thing for the local community. Traffic into & out of howth particularly at weekends is already a problem so to have such high density housing proposed is troubling.

This change of purpose should not be permitted. The grass area is a safe haven for mums and little ones and the tennis courts are an inclusive local amenity for young and not so young alike.

This wonderful community amenity has been part of Howth/Sutton life for such a long time that it's removal would have a very negative effect for many who use it. Please save Baltray Park

The tennis courts are a really wonderful amenity, free access to courts for all without having to join a private tennis club. It would be a sad day if they were taken from the community.

I strongly object to the handing over of this very special public amenity to private developers. Baltray park has a very special place in our lives, it is where our four children learnt to ride their bikes and where I go to play tennis with my kids on the only PUBLIC tennis courts for miles around.

The tennis courst have been used for generations by young and old alike. Our kids went to "Kit Kat Tennis" there during summer holidays and have gone on to have a keen interest in sport. This park is a local amenity in public ownership and can't be "given" to a developer.

Considering the scale of the proposed development at the Techrete site I would think maintaining Baltray is essential.
