Save Baltray Park

a disgraceful decision

This vital amenity must be kept for public use.

Considering the scale of the development on the old Techrete site, this beautiful public park should remain in public use.

I believe this amenity should stay available to the community

Terrible plan, my son uses it at least once a week with his friends

As per usual another public child friendly space taken by the Fat Cats in suits

This park is much loved in the community and if it was given away for nothing I'd be seriously disappointed. There's no other park for miles to play tennis for free. My son and I spend many summer evenings here practicing.

Its not theirs to give away its ours

We use Baltray park regularly and have had our wedding photos taken at the park. This is a lovely park which should be kept in the community.

great amenity would be a great loss

Tennis courts is a well used and loved amenity. My son has played tennis there with us and as part of the Dublin Parks Tennis. Please keep the park.

Please save great place played here as a child

Valuable community community and should absolutely be saved. Green spaces all over the city are reducing. Please correct this awful trend. I so many of us from the area first learnt to play tennis Here and money of her children doing same.

Its the only public space left. We spent many summer on these courts and its still used quite regularly by the locals

I grew up playing tennis and using the putting green. My kids also played tennis there. The way this has been handled by councilors/ planners is a disgrace

Instead of getting rid maybe they could improve the park

Disgraceful behaviour

I grew up in Howth. This is a necessary public amenity and should be preserved for Generations to come.

Surely with more families living on the peninsula, recreation space becomes even more important.

There is a huge site to be developed beside the Park. Do we have to lose the Park too? Or will there be a park with playground and or tennis courts in the plans?
