Baltray was provided to the people of the area and by us to the council ,only in care. They knowingly abuse the fact or spirit of their legal powers to make such a transfer . Their legal dept needs to find the courage to speak for us,under the protection of anonymity.

Baltray Park has been enjoyed by the people of Howth and visitors for decades, This is a part of our community and should not be given to a developer, Fingal Co Council need to protect this amenity.

Please save Baltray Park. It's a necessary amenity on the peninsula for locals and those who visit

As a local parent of 4 small children I am disgusted that we are losing this space. Especially considering how little facilities there are in the area for families with children.

I used to play tennis in these courts during the year. Many happy memories for which the community needs to be able to experience for years to come

Baltray Park is a much loved & used part of the Howth community's daily life. I want it to remain for my grandchildren & all other future generations.

It is essential that the park stay exactly as it is. Beware of slick schemes which, in fact, will result in the park being swallowed up as the open space requirement of any residential scheme (which won't benefit the community either).

This cannot be allowed to happen. Baltray Park was just handed over without discussion or approval of the elected councillors, why did this occur in such an underhand way? It is the one free outdoor local amenity that is well used, despite not being well maintained over the years. Fingal CC owes it to the people of Howth who pay their salaries to respect their opinion, and leave Baltray Park alone.

It is a disgrace to allow this facility to be taken away from the local community.
