I spent this morning looking at the empty floor space where my partner and I learned our wedding waltz and the weight of this potential loss feels heavier than ever. We are busy reaching out to the local office to demand a conversation about what this studio means to the people who call it home. Your stories keep me going when the silence from the other side feels deafening.

My heart breaks imagining this studio empty and quiet after all the years we spent learning steps on that floor. We are pushing hard to reach one thousand signatures before we bring this to LinkedIn and your effort today is what keeps our hope alive.

I am a senior continuously learning and practicing new ballroom dance steps to stop Alzheimer and get physical activity. Cheryl Burke Dance Studio is the best place for this and it is a FANTASTIC addition to the community. Please extend the lease. Sincerely Fred Saremi
This has been such a gift to teens and young adults who want a LEGAL, fun, safe place to dance and socialize. Especially here in the bay area, a place like this is so necessary to encourage healthy outlets. Please extend the lease as long as possible.
A very important community resource for people of all ages, sizes, shapes & ethnicities. This ballroom promotes community, social & physical wellbeing, very important during these challenging times. LinkedIn should value this neighborhood community and "be a good neighbor"!
I am a tech professional and I have been attending events at Starlight/Cheryl Burke since 1999. I would be a great loss for the Valley to close one of the most iconic and popular social meeting places for professionals in Silicon Valley.
We need good venues for ballroom dancing in the Bay Area. High rents are driving more and more locations away. Surely the Bay Area can support a classy art like ballroom dancing. LinkedIn, please do the right thing.

I know Cheryl Burke from having performed in the studio's jazz band. Everyone there LOVES the live music and dancing to Big Band tunes which stand the test of time. Extending the lease is a small price to pay for community spirit and a beloved dance studio!
