I was a student at Akimel in the late 90s, my daughter attended Akimel and my son hopes to follow next year. Akimel has been a huge part of our history and we would be devestated to see it close

akimel is an amazing school. being a student there right now i don’t want to see it go down—even though i wont be there next year due to being an 8th grader, i believe that every other student below me should be able to have the full akimel experience. we have the highest enrollment, beautiful smart students and wonderful teachers who love their jobs. please keep akimel open!!

We have two children attending Akimel and we cannot put into words how proud we are of this school. We were at St John Bosco and find Akimel far superior. The principal really creates an amazing environment that students are encouraged to thrive. Sports and extracurricular activities are also one of the reasons why we are at this school. This community has and will continue to flow through these halls.

It would be a tremendous loss to the community to close this incredible place gifted to our children. It’s a bad idea for our kids, our property values and our future
