I know we have to close school to help with budget, but how does it make sense to close the school with my most enrollment. All three of my children have attend Akimel now my youngest is an 7th grade at this school and I would like to see him continue in his siblings foot steps

It is feeder school to Desert Vista HS. Akimel and Estrella should be left open.

I have graduated from akimel in may of 2025. i am so sad to hear there is a possibility of aki closing down. i love all the teachers there. SAVE AKIMELLLLLLL!!!!!!
