It is so sad to think it may close as my Auntie and Uncle ran the centre in the 70's and it was a huge part of my childhood playing in the streams and ropes in the woods it was a child's paradise. Such good family memories of family and my parents no longer with us. Gave so many people pleasure and confidence
Many valuable learning experiences have been had and can continue to happen here. fantastic opportunity for Leicestershire council to make a real difference. if marketed properly this hall could create local jobs and prove to be profitable.
I went to Aberglaslyn in the early 70's and it offered experiences that still serve as reference points for me today. The LCC decision to sell is completely beyond comprehension.
I was fortunate enough to visit the hall three times during my school years and found it the most wonderful place. Team building and exploring the Welsh hills and Mountains created interests that remain to this day. Please rethink the decision to close this wonderful facility and keep it open so that others may have the same opportunities i had as a child.
I spent 1 week here as a pre teen in the 80's and 2 weeks on a college work placement when I was 18. Such a shame to hear of its closure. My eldest son, aged 12 would have gone here this year and I am gutted he won't get to experience Aberglasyn Hall. During my work placement here I can honestly say the experience has a huge positive impact on all who were involved.
I went on a school trip to Aberglasslyn around 1966 and enjoyed every minute. My niece went there on a school trip many years later also enjoying the experience, it would be such a shame to deprive other school children of the chance learn about out door pursuits
I have many fond memories of my trip to Aberglaslyn hall, back in 1992. Please leep it open for the benefit of future generations - I was shocked to hear LCC are planning to close it.

This centre is a veritable gem for the people of Leicestershire to enjoy. I had amazing experiences there doing outdoor pursuits and later as a field study centre for my A-Levels.
