City of Gary has been talking about rebuilding for a long time. Please don't stop people who are actually doing rather than just talking.

I live in this neighborhood and I hate that I have to travel to Illinois to get different food. So I am all for a place in my neighborhood like this.

If the City of Gary don’t say anything about the junkyard on 11th and Grant which has been a eyesore and it needs to be condemned and torn down immediately. Eminent Domain should be used for the junk yard and not a new restaurant in our city that is trying to bring decency into the community , somethings wrong with our administration.
The junkyard has been sitting there for at least 15 years or more and nobody seems to have a problem with it , they have not been able to get it removed so I say Mr. Allen don’t go any where unless the City pay you double for your trouble and they have a better plan in place .

It’s the redevelopment department fault. They should know what is going on in their city. At block been abandoned for over 30 years! If the housing authority owned it they should be FINED! CODE ENFORCEMENT need to do their Job! This city is a mess!

We need to build Gary up let’s see some new eatery’s around here in stead of going thirty miles out of the way for sumtjin to eat.

The GHA needs to focus on demolishing Carolina Gardens, Dorie Miller and Delaney rather than spending energy destroying something positive in the city.
