This business brings much needed revenue to the City of Gary. Downtown Gary, IN does not need additional housing in a business district. There are plenty of land in the immediate vicinity for GHA to us, east and west of Broadway.

Being that Gary is lacking funds in the city, this restaurant would boost the economy and attract visitors and it would be a win win situation for the city. You build not destroy. I'm quite sure whatever you're trying to build can be build around this restaurant.

This is exactly the kind of business downtown Gary needs. Why isn’t the City of Gary doing everything it can to to help John Allen. Be an enabling force for redevelopment not a block. The GHA has plenty of work to do and doesn’t need his building to do it.

I stand with Mr. Allen, he has been working extremely hard on this new venture. We definitely have been looking forward to this Establishment. Gary needs new vibrant local businesses to offer hope, inspiration, and job opportunities. That is exactly what Mr. Allen is creating.

A private citizen's property rights should not be infringed by the city government, especially not when they are making a large monetary investment in the community by opening and operating a restaurant in an area that is in desperate need of good dining options.
