I thought the city was all about supporting Gary entrepreneurs, especially Black entrepreneurs. You could be doing more to demolish abandoned, shells of houses in neighborhoods(only six houses are occupied on my block, for example. The rest are abandoned, falling apart and burnt shells).Tear down abandoned buildings that are unoccupied and just rotting away. Why would you take away a businessman's dream? Gary is supposed to be about uplifting small businesses. That's been a proposed structure for more than 20 years!

Please don’t terminate or condemn said property being that it has been or is in the process of being renovated...... Tear some of the abandoned buildings and houses down that nobody is renovating. Because there is plenty to go around

John Allen has done amazing work in improving the lives of people in Gary. His work in self-renovating homes with high quality shows that he cares about people and economy. Give people a good place to live. Help them feel PROUD to live in Gary. Same thing with building his food business. It's done with excellence and aims at improving the nutrition of the people in Gary. He's doing it. He has a good vision -- to help raise the people of the city in their quality of life. His projects are thought out and he completes them with beautiful, inspiring results! (He would be a great City Planner!) Please protect "Nations".

John allen is a great business man and a terrific community organizer who has done a lot for the city of Gary. He purchased a building and has been renovating it to become a dining destination which is sorely needed in Gary Indiana. I wholeheartedly support John, his business, and sincerely hope he is allowed to open up a much needed business which will also contribute to the property tax coffers and provide employment for a number of individuals.
