GHA had plenty of time to acquire this property before now and they were dragging their feet. Leave that business alone and go find other available land to redevelop. They can use the land where prior housing once stood. Why use the main street like Broadway. Dont make any sense.

This is a stepping stone in the right direction for Gary , Indiana to continue to draw new businesses. The housing authority csn have asnything else but please leave this. We need something to keep Gary dollars in Gary.

This is a BEAUTUFUL Restaurant. It really enhances the city and it's A DAM shame that they are giving this man a hard time. I have been following his struggle on Facebook.

GARY need more people like John in which goes out and renovate something that was an eye sore!! Bring our city back to the greatness we know dwelling with in.. Out with the corruption and in with the people whom about change and not pocket stuffing. Save our small businesses and stop making everything politically motivated!

I AM BEHIND NATIONS RESTAURANT AT 624 BROADWAY. IT IS A SHAME & VERY PIETYFUL THAT THE GHA DID NOT WANT TO DO ANYTHING UNTIL THIS OWNER DID WHAT WAS NECESSARY FOR HIM TO GET HIS BUSINESS UP & RUNNING WITH ALL OF THE T'S TO CROSS & THE I'S TO DOT SO THAT HE CAN GET HIS RESTAURANT UP & RUNNING. NOW GHA WANTS TO DEMOLISH THIS BUSINESS NOW AFTER ALL OF THE TIME, FUNDS, CONTRACTS, & ETC. THE GHA SHOULD HAD MADE A MOVE TO DEMOLISH OVER 15 YEARS AGO IF THEY WERE GOING TO DOANYTHING.
