My friends family grew up in this home. So many memories they have shared with us and I know they’d hate to see it vanish. Please keep it!!!

May is National Preservation Month. Set a good example, City of Tyler, and show that you understand the value of history, culture, and sense of place in your community.

This house existed before even the town square was laid out. It’s not in great shape now, but if it’s demolished, it’s gone forever. Let’s save it and then discuss preservation.

Let’s preserve this piece of history. I know it is expensive to conserve/ restore; however, soooo worth it. Can’t retrieve this history when it is gone.

Tyler needs to work to preserve our history, not be stupid like the rest of our country and tear everything from the past down.

The 1847 house needs repairing, and it should be given a historical marker. Maybe it could become a museum or a City of Tyler property?

Putting modern quadplex buildings should never be allowed in our historic azalea district. Save our precious old homes.
