This zoning change is bad to even consider on multiple levels:
1 - The historical aspect of the oldest home in Tyler just cant be erased with demolition
2 - The mixing of zoning combinations such as Single Family, then Multiple Family, and so on is just not good for the overall city development, and then
3 - The slippery slope that an approval such as this would cause is something that cant be undone

It is important to preserve our towns history & protect our single family dwelling zoning. Mr. Browne claims on social media we are "Karens " wanting to preserve our history. Some comments are down right disturbing. Single family ownership is being under attack as is history preservation. Is it important now more than ever to protect both, even if it makes us "Karens ".

We must preserve Tyler's history by preserving and restoring this oldest home still standing in Tyler. Our future has no context without our history.
