We as masqueraders understand that a stage will be constructed in the Savannah for pre Carnival events such as Panorama and Dimanche Gras and if the stage is being built we WANT TO CROSS THE STAGE ON CARNIVAL MONDAY AND TUESDAY. Although the National Carnival Band Association thinks that mas on the move was a success no one asked the masqueraders what WE consider to be the ideal situation for US and mas on the streets still created congestion and confusion. So, we are sending this message to the powers that be; the N.C.C., N.C.B.A and the Ministry of Culture that we DO want a stage for Carnival 2008. The undersigned signatures are all in agreement that masqueraders should cross the Queens Park Savannah Stage for Carnival 2008 and by our signatures indicate support for this proposal.
