Yes I also agree we should be able to have reasonable tint on side windows. These laws should be reviewed.

Its not completely about looks, and its not about trying to avoid the cops. Window tint definatly helps with glare, keeping you cooled off etc. Also added safety from your sunglasses falling off when you have to check from side to side

Tinted windows not only helps accidents when the sun is blinding but keeps the posesitions in my car hidden from passing shoppers

I have tinted windows.. Sure helps when the sun is blinding a guy prevents accidents in my opinion

How could something be legal in multiple other provinces but not in one? goes to show there is no real public safety back bone to the law itself.

Seems like everywhere I have been in U.S. and many parts of Canada it's allowed. Tint help slow the aging process of cheaply made plastic automotive interiors as well as helps kids from freaking out due to the sun shining in there eyes. What a joke of a law. Seems like we are years behind other provinces!
