It is my understanding that Alberta does not have "tint" laws. Why can't Saskatchewan follow the example of Alberta. They do not appear to have any significant negative issues related to Officer safety.
Got my first ticket in Saskatoon on a vehicle I did not modify and have owned since it was 1 year old in2007 looked around the parking lot where I got my ticket and could see at least 10 others with as much or more tint. Rediculous cash grab
As an owner of a window tint shop here in Saskatchewan, I would very much entertain a reworking of this law. A maximum tint of 40% for front door windows is something that should be seriously looked at.
there is no direct correlation between window tinting and accident rates which is the reason they have for banning them in saskatchewan. The law should be repealed to allow up to 20% on the driver's side
I diss agree with this law, we should be allowed 35% or better side tint. I am light sensitive for migraines, and the 35% tint on my windows have bin a huge help for my migraines but not for my wallet cause of law inforcement that don't even understand why it is illegal.
Uv resistance and its way easier to see. There is also shade shifting tint so that when the sun goes down the windows clear up and untint the windows
There has never been an incident in North America that front tinted windows caused and injuries FYI!

I believe we should be able to have our windows darker to reduce glare on sunny days as well as keep the inside of the vehicle cooler if there is a child in it. Most new vehicles come with factory laminated glass so the glass shattering isn’t a worry anymore
