He employs sub par writers, threatens and belittles his readers and will even use information that has been requested to stay private. San Angelo LIVE! does not care about their readers, their community or their town. They frequently will threateningly respond to concerned readers comments. Joe will personally email a concerned reader and either threaten or thoroughly belittle their comments.
Joe Hyde and San Angelo LIVE! should be gone! They've caused an excess in confusion and uproar in this community and it needs to stop. He had ruined businesses, reputations and the integrity of our town.

This site chose to post a news story designed to incite public panic on the day we buried my mother. No one from this company contacted my family for comment nor did they verify any of the information with anyone in the community or the local publisher of the paper. Their story used my mother’s tragic death as clickbait to keep their pockets lined with as money. They are a disgrace to the free press and the 1st Amendment.
In my own experience I know of 3 incorrect spins on articles and hear so many negative reviews about what they post. These guys care more about their ad revenue than they do about the community. They may be the fastest, but they are the trashiest.
I have never seen such irresponsible reporting in my life. Publishing "news" before anyone even know what the actual facts are is common place in this publication.
I persoanlly know how unprofessional their journalism is. I was involved in a situation that was reported on as a witness and first hand saw how they misreported the truth. They don't care about the truth, just the reach they get & exposure.
Joe Hyde is a troll that try’s to benefit off of others tragedies and loss. He did this to my family and I have continued to watch him do this to others while they are suffering.
Joe Hyde is rude, inaccurate and insensitive.
The is no need for the garbage that is poorly written and publicized. San Angelo can do better and deserves better.

I sometimes laugh at the humor in the articles, but they are pretty disrespectful and insensitive. Although people shouldn’t be so sensitive, the news should be reported professionally. San Angelo live is a joke and should not be taken seriously.
