Michael Kozak comment is exactly what is wrong with that intersection. They could very easily cut into the median to make it wider along with a crosswalk.

Sorry, still a working body,,, but glimpsed at this amongst emails and wanted to comment thoughts based on my traffic experience. Poor original engineering entering Safflower. Narrowed road entrance when it should be as wide as the rest of the street. And no “gee swerve” after the narrow entrance to avoid oncoming traffic. Solution is widen Safflower entrance based on engineering that would tell you don't narrow a road entrance especially with more than a 90 degree turn (for those making a right hand turn onto Safflower). And get the sidewalk coming off Safflower to extend straight across to the other side of the street as you asked last year. Common sense to avoid a fatality. Suggest you consult police dept traffic dept to meet, and make suggestions. If I am in town, happy to meet if this materializes.

I vote for a 3 way stop. Exiting Safflower, even turning right, it is not easy to see cars coming the other direction and I believe this change would be safer not only for drivers, but for pedestrians trying to cross the road.

The intersection at Safflower and CP south is extremely dangerous. In or to see if cars are coming around the bend, you need to pull half way into the road.

The intersection of Safflower and CP South Wynd is definitely a problem when it comes to seeing oncoming traffic from the left when exiting Safflower. I support the installation of a three way stop.

Very hard to see to the left coming out of Safflower.

No crosswalk so dangerous to cross betweenSafflower and Compass Point Wynd. Need traffic control for safety of drivers and walkers.

Speed and lack of sight line from safflower onto compass pointe s Wynd is so dangerous. Drivers pick up speed going down the hill towards the west gate and would find it almost impossible to stop if a golf cart or car were to pull out to turn. Cars have to pull way out o go compass pointe to be able to see oncoming traffic!

I live at 2579 Compass Pointe South Wynd. This section of road is basically a race track and needs these stop signs!
