As a resident of Trailwood since 1981, our family has enjoyed not having all the trappings of The City and are doing just fine without being additionally taxed solely for the City's benefit. I know for a fact the City is unable to provide minimal services (Police &Fire) to the proposed "I-10" annexation area. Furthermore, I will lobby/vote against against any City Council member who champions this project. How'd you like us to come to your neighborhood and ask money from you without anything given in return?!?!

My family and I chose to live in this area, with the longer commute and the higher cost of living, purposely. Annexation would add to this cost creating an unnecessary financial burden to a group of people who do not want to be annexed. This move by the city is unfair and arbitrary. No to annexation!
