Annexation of the Northwest corridor/Taxation Without Representation/I VOTE NO!
We went through this same debate last year and it taught us the infrastructure required for annexation into San Antonio is just not there. The citizens of NW Corridor do not want to be annexed into the city limits of San Antonio. We want our voices heard. We do not want taxation without representation. The San Antonio police department is already stretched in its ability to "protect and serve" what is currently within its city limits. There is nothing about this annexation that benefits the NW corridor residents. And as a retiree, on a fixed income, we would no longer be able to afford the higher property taxes that would come from higher property values, therefore, forcing us to move out of this beautiful area.

Please do not annex our community. We finally found an affordable and quiet community to make a home for our family. Annexation would mean we could not afford to stay here.
