We, the undersigned, want Radnor Valley Community School stay open under on its current site, under its current name and with its current staff.
We are opposed to the proposals from Powys County Council that Radnor Valley Community School should merged with Gladestry School and reopened on the Radnor site under a new name and redesignated as a Church-in-Wales school to allow for the closure of Gladestry Church-in-Wales School.
No details about this remodelling have been provided by Powys County Council. There have been no reassurances that there will be any money to carry out a 'remodelling'.
We see no valid reason for the closure of Radnor Valley School.
