Reaching a thousand names is heavy news because it shows exactly how many families are worried about the future of our local schools. I am exhausted by the constant uphill battle against the council, but seeing this level of public alarm keeps me moving forward.

The days have been long and honestly exhausting for all of us involved in this fight. We are nearing one thousand signatures and I need you to push this a little further so they cannot ignore us. How are parents supposed to manage with kids travelling miles away. Do they even think before they come up with these plans
shocking. they clearly dont care about rural education. keep our 6th forms
LEAVE OUR SCHOOLS ALONE. Stop cutting funding for rural areas, its not fair on the students at all.
My daughter is at school in Llanidloes and she loves it there. Dont ruin it for her and all the others.
my kids go to school here and the thought of them having to bus an hour away is just ridiculous. leave our local schools alone.

Ridiculous idea. These schools are the heart of our villages. Keep them open!
