I have been hearing from dozens of you about how unfair these new lunch seating rules feel. I am currently reaching out to the administration to request a meeting about restoring our freedom to choose where we sit. Text three classmates tonight and tell them to add their names to the list.

I honestly don't understand why they would take away sitting wherever for the good kids, I understand there are bad kids but it sucks for the good kids. Please think of everyone and not just bad kids.
this is so unfair to the students bc for the 8th graders its their last year here and they r not allowed to sit with their friends? and it it the last quarter and yall punish everyone??
honestly, I don't get why this is happening. I really don't like this idea. the whole reason why lunch was created so kids and adults to socialize and learn how to make new friends. i think sitting where you like is a good opportunity to make new friends and to get to know each other.
I feel like we should be able to sit wherever we want at lunch because it is our only period that we can actually socialize with our friends and talk to them. Now that we have assigned seats it just looks like nobody enjoys it and the lunch rooms are completely silent.
GIVE USE ARE RIGHT to sit together sooo many kids at lunch sit there on their phone not even talking I bet if you check any of the kids screen time it probably increased so much from this week example is 3 period everyone talked now poeple sit there and do nothing
when I was at ridgeview, we started with seat choice, bring it back but with reform

WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO PICK ARE OWN SEATS SOME PEOPLE SiT WERE THEY SIT TO AVOID BULLYING AND NOW THEY SIT RIGHT NEXT TO THEM LET US PICK WERE WE WANT TO SIT!
