This petition is to support the right for male students to wear earrings to school. While we fully support the Administration and Staff, we believe it is time for change on this issue. We believe this trend is no longer "unusual or non-traditional" and does not have negative connotations or cause a disruption in classrooms. By signing this petition I support an update to the Rusk High School Handbook and Dress Code allowing males to wear earrings to school.

I firmly believe both genders should be allowed the choice to wear or not to wear adorned jewelry like earrings.
I don’t think it will hurt anyone. It will not affect learning. It’s time to get out of the old ways!!

It is beyond time to update these old rules. Earrings on a male are not disruptive.
