Documents currently being withheld from Saunders and her fellow teachers will show how New York City and the New York City Department of Education conspired to discriminate against seasoned and dedicated teachers based on sex, age, ethnic origin, nationality, religion and beliefs. The discrimination has damaged the public school system and caused a decline in the quality of education available to NYC public school students. Teacher Jennifer Saunders and her fellow teachers filed a historic litigation in NY Federal Courts entitled Saunders vs. NYC Dept of Education to gain access to documents that will show the discriminatory practices based on race, gender and age that deliberately violated Saunders’ Constitutionally Guaranteed Rights. As a result of her Whistleblower Teacher status and attempt to protect minority students to which they were entrusted, Saunders and her family suffer grave injustice at the hands of the Bloomberg Administration.
