We, the citizens of the State of New Jersey , in order to preserve the safety and welfare of the people who traverse State Route 35, submit this petition as a document of grievance. We request that you expedite the repairs which have been delayed for at least 20 years. Numerous vehicular accidents, some of which were fatal, and constant flooding problems are counterproductive to the safety and commerce of the area. Please accept these reasons and signatures that follow as ample evidence that there are necessary repairs that need to be made to State route 35 which should not be delayed any longer.
