With such a large swimming community that continues to grow every year, Round Rock needs a proper swim center.

Our swimmers only have the YMCA to practice, otherwise have to travel to Cedar Park, etc. We also need a swim venue to host competitions here in Round Rock. Let's really make Round Rock the true Sports Capitol of Texas!

I grew up in RRISD and traveled all over Texas with the RR Dragons swim team. How nice it would have been to have been able to host large competitions at a local pool. The town is full of swimmers who pack a place to go locally and harness their talents. Let's bring a natatorium to town!

With so many excellent swim teams in the area, we need this in RR.

This is a very important facility for our area. Austin is far behind other Texas cities for competitive swimming facilities.

This would be great win for the RRISD community if a facility like this is approved. Not only will it help competitive swimming, but can also provide a central location to teach young kids how to swim.

Since 1996 I traveled all over the state if Texas to attend swim meets that my kids swam in. Entry fees, food, gas, & Hotel costs alone would be almost $1000 for a 3 day meet. If we could keep that money local & host swim meets in Round Rock. If you build it they will come and keep the money local.

RRISD is blessed to have UT to host large meets, but without it, we don't have a single indoor pool that is capable of handling the parking, concessions or facilities necessary to run a district meet. We have a duty to provide appropriate, functional, and safe facilities for students. http://www.nisd.net/bond/projects/2643

Swimming is a growing, and life-long, healthy sport that is grossly under-services in the Austin area.

It would be great to have a Natatorium for the swimmers in our district! Swimming is such a great sport, and students of all ages could benefit from swim programs there.
