As of December 2008 the changing facilities at Abbey Green have been closed & out of action due to being vandalised. When i approached the council i was advised that it would be too costly to repair & the council didn't have the funds to repair the building. During the Off Season, Warwickshire county council boarded up the changing facilities and allowed a Graffiti Club to paint all over the new blank canvas. With 2 teams permanently based at the Abbey Green Pitches there have been numerous occasions when up to 60 players have been changing in the car park outside a block of flats which house many elderly people not to mention the many dog walkers & children that walk past & use the playground. This is a petition to put a case together so that Warwickshire County Council reconsiders there decision to close the building due to lack of funds.
