I fully support expansion of rowing facilities in Prince William County in order support a larger, more diverse group of youth and adults in the county.

A new boat house is long overdue and would be a tremendous asset to the whole community.

I have been apart of the rowing community at Lake Marina since 1996, when I was in high school. Rowing transformed my life. It gave me self-confidence and a safe place to spend many hours as a teenager and young adult. Now, as a coach for Colgan HS, I see every season how rowing makes young people not just more fit, but more resilient and better leaders. Having rowing facilities where we could host more teens and adults would be a tremendous benefit to our Prince William community.

All three of our children rowed with Woodbridge Crew in high school. It’s a great team sport and deserves more support from the school system and the county. Please build another boathouse to allow all the crew teams to benefit

Fully support. The current boathouse was originally a temporary fix. Time to add capacity to this growing sport in PWC

The sport of rowing is growing more in the northern Virginia area than anywhere else in the country. The population needs your support.

I rowed for Gar-Field in the 80's when we had to row out of Sandy Run. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to row out of Oxford, but my two daughters did. Oxford was built when Sandy Run could no longer house all of the schools that wanted to row. Now Oxford is facing the same situation. It's time for a new boathouse.

In order for our kids to participate in Crew, 100% of the cost falls on the shoulders of the families. Let’s get this done!
