Petition Summary and Background
Currently the HOA for Phase 4 & 5 of Rose Gate / Renaissance is under the direction of the developer John Lotton; who also owns The Gates of St John and ascertains that our homes fall under The Gates of St John HOA covenants. Currently the HOA has a “No Meetings and No Vote” policy, equating to no voice for the homeowners. A recent meeting of 30+ homeowners revealed the following concerns / expectations:
- Expect the same amenities as The Gates of St. John (park, landscaped entrances, clean ponds with fountains, etc.)
- Opposed to paying $600 for an additional mailbox and for having mailbox posts erected in our yards without consent, notification, or communication of any kind from the HOA / developer.
- Desire open meetings to include the homeowners and allow for voting on HOA issues.
Action Petitioned For
Seeking legal counsel to determine what our rights as the actual homeowners entail, and if possible, transition the Phase 4 & 5 Rose Gate Homeowners Association (HOA) to the actual homeowners.
*Optional donation from each homeowner of $25 to retain attorney. Donation information will be given after needed petition signatures are obtained.

Can we add that we'd like trees and/or a fence along 101st for privacy and security?
We have not yet set up a PayPal for donations. For those interested in donating for attorney fees, we will send out information on how to donate once we receive the needed signatures .
We have been asking for these same amenities for 6 years in Rose Gate.
We live in the Gates of St. John and like what you're petitioning for. We have similar issues with the developer.
