LIVERPOOL MUSIC SCENE IS IN OUR OPINION THE MOST TALENTED IN THE ENTIRE LAND. DO YOU THINK THE FRIDAY COVERAGE IN THE LIVERPOOL ECHO DISPLAYS THIS
DO YOU THINK LOCAL UNSIGNED BANDS FROM LIVERPOOL GET HIGHLIGHTED ENOUGH IN THE LIVERPOOL ECHO (THATS RIGHT LOCAL PAPER, LOCAL BANDS)
ARE YOU HAPPY SEEING A ONCE A WEEK MUSIC SECTION FEATURING AN ESTABLISHED STARS REVIEW (I.E. JASON DONOVAN OR KYLIE ETC) OF THEIR GIG IN MANCHESTER AND TAKING NEARLY THE ENTIRE PAGE.
DO YOU THINK THIS IS RIGHT AND WHAT THE LIVERPOOL PUBLIC WANT (AS THE ECHO DOES THEY TOLD US SO)
DO YOU FEEL AS IF YOU REQUEST FOR EVEN THE SMALLEST MENTION FALL ON DEAF EARS AND THAT YOUR BAND OR MUSIC SCENE DO NOT EVEN TREATED AS WORTHY TALENT WORTH PROMOTING IN YOUR OWN CITY.
SINCE WE COMPLAINED TO THE WRITER OF THE ECHO MUSIC PAGE THERE HAS BEEN SOME TOKEN GESTURES I.E. SOME BANDS GETTING A LITTLE MENTION, BUT WE FEEL VERY STRONGLY ABOUT THE LACK OF EXPOSURE YOU THE MUSICIANS AND THE FANS OF LOCAL MUSIC ARE RECEIVING.
IF YOU FEEL THE SAME THEN FEEL FREE TO SIGN THE PETITION AND WE WILL SEND IT TO THE ECHO REGARDLESS OF THE RESULTS. FEEL FREE TO PASS IT ON TO YOUR FRIENDS SO WE CAN RESEARCH THEIR OPINION. IF YOU FEEL THE SAME AS US ON THIS ISSUE THEN FEEL FREE TO SIGN. ALL BANDS MUST SIGN AS INDIVIDUALS AS IT IS ABOUT INDIVIDUAL FEELINGS.
The feedback regarding the current state of local music coverage continues to arrive in high volume. I am currently organizing these testimonies to present a clear case to the editorial board. Your accounts of being overlooked by the publication remain the central focus of this effort.

The momentum behind this initiative clearly demonstrates that the local music community refuses to accept the current coverage standards. It is evident that the public desires a publication that reflects the true talent emerging from our city.

Ridiculous that local talent gets ignored in favor of has-beens playing in manchester. support your own city!

give the unsigned guys a chance for once. there is so much talent in this city doing nothing because the local paper just cant be bothered to write about it.

Liverpool has some of the best bands in the country but you wouldnt know it reading the echo. sick of seeing pop star reviews from 20 years ago. show us what is happening on our own doorsteps!
