This Petition is to bring forward the long overdue recognition to Parliment and to Society of the deportation, murder and rape of our Roma Women that happened many years ago and is still being acted out but society choses to turn a blind eye. This is a thousand voices to allow us to voice our concerns on this ever increasing battle and severe injustice on our human and civil rights as women. Our aim is to have a memorial that has been designed and created by a Roma person, erected either in Dover or Portsmouth to honour the memory of the women and children gone before us whose voice was not heard, to assure them that the injustice that they suffered will be no more and the time for change has come now as we stand together united.
