Let Columbia City Council know you support the development of Rocky Branch Creek and its surrounding lands into a green way and reject the idea of building a Wal-Mart or any other warehouse style box chain on this land.
The proposed development of property along Assembly street and the lands of Rocky Branch Creek into any warehouse style big box chain, such as Wal-Mart, would be extremely detrimental to Columbia's local economy, environment, and community. Such a development would also destroy a historic land mark, Capital City Stadium. Developing the lands along Rocky Branch into a green way is a sound and responsible plan for the city of Columbia.
