Stop the congestion!

That would be at least an extra 220 cars added to already crowded Buford Drive, Rocksprings Rd, Old P’tree, Collins Hill and L’ville Suwanee Rd! Not to mention all the additional children flooding the schools there. The Commissioners should be protecting our quality of life.

This area is too congested already. It is almost impossible to exit our subdivision with the afternoon Rock Springs School traffic.

We just moved in this area and very disappointed seeing the construction plans. There is so much traffic, single lane road. 200 homes = 400 to 450 cars at least. This will not only have a negative affect on the people living here but also all the nature and wild life.

This area is already too congested with the recent additions of multiple apartment complexes. The intersections of both sides of Rock Springs Road cannot handle any additional traffic.

WE DO NOT NEED THIS!!! The corner of Rock Springs and 20 where the church was will be having two 4 story medical buildings at some point, a church at some point across from the school, and now they want to add 212 town homes with 350-400 additional cars. Rock Springs Road cannot handle the traffic. What is in our future? Rock Springs as a 4 lane? The traffic on 20 is already unable to move most of the time and heaven forbid something happens to tie up one lane!! The intersection of Rock Springs and 20 is and has been a high accident intersection. I would bet that none of the Commissioners live over in this are that they make decisions on!!!

Please STOP BUILDING in the Rock Springs Rd area. I vote for this construction to be denied, I VOTE THAT THIS CONSTRUCTION DOES NOT PROCEED, it is insane. Traffic is horrible at rush hour, with only one lane on either side, a trip that is supposed to be no more than 5 or 10 minutes takes more than half an hour to 45 minutes. With new homes just built, at nearly $ 1 million each, in and near Rock Springs Rd our taxes have already increased by over 50%, which is way too much. In addition, our fauna and flora, already injured, are suffering irreversible damage and I cannot even imagine how bad it would be to have a construction of such magnitude in our neighborhood.

Already have too much congestion and I am concerned about safety. We already have too many renters walking up and down rock springs all hours of the night. Car vandals have increased and so has littering! Never had this issue until all these town homes and apartments started popping 7p.

Please STOP...we had to accept and now deal with the Mall of GA traffic... then we add on Cool Ray... and new apartment(s) complex.... and then comes the Exchange of Gwinnett. Now you want to add over 200 Townhouses to one side of Rock Spring Rd....and breaking ground for something else on the other side of Rock Spring Rd AND allowing homes value over $930,000.00 to be built so that our property taxes increase on our homes value between $148,000-$279,000 etc. We who have lived here in this community for decade finds it difficult to continue to accept this "I don't care mentality"... it's not in my neighborhood (sort of speak). As many have shared "WE" do not want anymore of the over crowded roads instead of adding more Townhouses, Businesses, Warehouses, Malls and Outlets (in case one is on the table) etc. How about "a plan" for traffic control (more lanes) and more sidewalks?

Proposing to build an additional 212 townhomes on Rock Springs Road, let alone next door to an elementary school that already has traffic congestion issues during drop-off and pickup hours is not in the best interest for the safety of students, faculty and all residents who live here. This area of Rock Springs Road has only 2 intersections in and out that are already negatively impacted due to the resent sprawl from the Mall of GA and the multiple new construction sites of condos and townhomes on Buford Hwy 20 near Rock Springs Rd. Those projects are not even completed and the traffic on 20 is horrendous. This proposal to give potentially 400+ vehicles access on a small subdivision side road in an already over saturated traffic area is simply not in the best interest of the existing families safety and well-being. Our vote is no.

The area is already congested. Adding another 212 homes will just add to to the traffic and the over crowded school across the street .

This will be a traffic nightmare. The plans are under the huge electrical wires and over a major gas line How can this even be healthy? The traffic on Rock Springs cannot be supported by the current road. Try driving down Rock Springs at 2:45 on school days Traffic gets backed up by the school. The entrance/exit on the plans puts it right next to the school. This is not ok in any way.

This is horrible idea!!! We already can't even drive on hwy 20/Buford drive as it is due to EXTREME traffic even before the did the Top Golf Extension to the already OVERGROWN Mall of Georgia Area!!! All we do is sit in this massive traffic and Rockspring Road is Already has massive traffic on our road due to people cutting around this over populated area!!! It seem to be that Gwinnett County only cares about the MONEY!!!! We don't WANT this on our Road!!! We have enough people here and it's very over populated!!!! Stop trying to build on all of our empty lots!!! Also, the area you are trying to build on is a GAS line and IS NOT supposed to be allowed to be built on.... Stop this over building madness!!!!!

Very concerning…it’s hard to believe that townhomes would maintain a high value over time being right by 85. It could potentially lower the value of single family homes in the area. The traffic on Rock Springs is already congested and the speed limit is not enforced enough. Will the city add extra lanes? OR lower the speed limit and install speed bumps to manage the constant violators of the speed limit! If the city wants to promote people walking on sidewalks to enjoy the parks, they need to change traffic on these roads so people are safe to walk down them.
