I am a resident / visitor to the Yarra Valley and have attended a concert / concerts staged at Rochford Wines. Rochford Wines has partnered with promoters and artist management companies to bring a range of concerts to the Yarra Valley. These concerts cover a wide spectrum of performing arts, including soloists, jazz, opera, rock and feature young emerging Australian artists as well as world class international performers and bands. I fully support Rochford Wines in bringing these concerts to their unique intimate setting. I would hope that there is no worthy cause presented from other parties that would put the staging of these concerts in jeopardy. Thousands of people, young and old, have benefitted from the annual concert series and the Yarra Valley has, through such, become a host to an international stage for acts that some people wait a lifetime to glimpse just once. I don't want the promoters and artist management companies to take these concerts to another venue. I commend Rochford Wines and the concert series they help promote. I want to keep this presentation of art through music "alive" in the Yarra Valley.
