This petition is for changing North Hampton State Beach to Robert Shaw State Beach. Robert Shaw was a soldier who fought in the Vietnam War, and was the only one who died from North Hampton. We feel that by naming the beach after him will memorialize him better than his small, insufficient memorial near the banstand which is currently named Shaw Commons. Please sign this petition and help us with our mission to memorialize Robert Shaw.
