Petition to the City Of Boston to rename Draper Pool the Sgt. Edward J Hogan Jr. Pool. Eddie died of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and Leukemia on 7/26/10 as a direct result of exposure to Agent Orange while proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War. Eddie worked at the pool as a swimming instructor and life guard and grew up a few streets away. There has been a couple of articles written about this. One appeared in the West Roxbury/Roslindale Bulletin and also the West Roxbury Transcript. If this request does not happen, a Hero Square dedication in West Roxbury will be a possibility. We urge you and your friends & family to please sign this petition for a justifiable honor that is well deserved. This is a small sacrifice to make for someone that made the ultimate sacrifice for his country and our freedom. Thank you
