RIVER RD SAFETY HAZARD PETITION
The City of Cincinnati promised a stop light while developing this stretch of River Road and now say that it is no longer needed. The intersection was developed for a stop/turn light per the City’s demand – and now the City will not install the stoplight. Mayor and City Council please honor the City’s promise to install a stop/turn light at 2790 River Rd. – please make River Rd. safe for everyone!

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you stepped up to demand a safer road for our neighborhood. This momentum is entirely yours and it shows that our city leaders cannot ignore us anymore.

Yes we need one i drive by this everyday at 3pm people dont use turn signals they just stop at the last min and turn or i seen ine day someone just pull out in front of moving traffic both ways its horrible a light will help with this
I drive past every morning and have seen so many almost accidents that would for sure be fatal if they happened.
It’s very unsafe. I’ve pulled in to fuel up, it’s very dangerous to pull back into traffic as no one follows the posted speed limit.
Trying to exit the parking lot here during rush-hour is absurd. I witnessed a motorcycle just barely making it out w/o being smashed today. Somebody *will* eventually be seriously injured or killed and the city will be at fault. Plenty of us in the neighborhood would be happy to remind the local media of City Hall's inaction when that happens.
That stretch of river road has always needed a light. It was dangerous pulling out of speedway and impossible pulling out of the new shell/bbq place!
How many accidents, How many injuries, how many deaths ae required before the City of Cincinnati remedies this situation?
The light is needed, end of story! To much traffic to make a left turn into or out of gas station/Drive Thru!

The light is needed for public safety. Mr. Brown honored his part of the bargain and, at great expense, added a left turn lane that the nearby Speedway isn't required to have.
