Discussions regarding the proposed section continue as colleagues across various subfields highlight the necessity for a dedicated space to examine religious phenomena. I am currently coordinating with institutional representatives to ensure that our formal proposal addresses the diverse methodological interests expressed by our signatories.

Yes please!! This is the exact section we need for our research.
Religion is everywhere in IR studies now. Makes no sense that we dont have a dedicated section for it yet.
Finally. About time we had a place for these conversations.
So many of us are dying to connect with others working on this. Bring it on.
Long overdue. The role of faith in global politics is huge and keeps getting ignored in our panels.
