im hearing from so many of you about how much this section is needed to bring historical work to the forefront of the isa. we are putting together a formal proposal based on the interest shown here and plan to submit it soon.

im honestly blown away by the response so far. seeing so many people excited about this section shows me we really have a community ready to make this happen.

Long overdue. The historical context is always missing in these conferences. This would be a great addition.
Great initiative. History is critical for understanding current global challenges. Lets make it happen.
Finally. My work on 19th century diplomacy never fits into the existing sections.
YES. Count me in. Its about time we had a proper home for this research within the ISA.
