My grandfather is buried there and we have some small items laid on his grave that remind us of him in different ways and its nice to recollect some memories when we visit because of these items. I think that it is a disgrace that Leeds city council dont have bigger issues to spend there time on.

Everyone should have a right to put on what they want within reason, people have lost loved ones and are grieving. It's disgusting the way the council are acting, maybe they should concentrate on vandalism and other such offences surely that would be better use of their time!!!

The majority of graves are well kept by loved ones , and they should be allowed to place items on their graves in which they receive comfort from doing so

Absolutely think families & friends of people that have died should be able to plant flowers & plants etc on their graves.

If someone has lost someone they should have a right to plant what they want on their lost ones grave. They've already been through a lot so let them bring a little colour in. Plus it'll cheer up the graveyard with colour

It's dispicable that Amelia Wake's family are being stripped from having the ability to leave their 14 year old baby girl flowers after she was so brutally taken from them.

I am appalled by the actions of the council to remove tributes from graves in Garforth cemetery. People have lost loved ones. By tending to their graves that's one way they can still do something for their special people who are no longer with us.
